Purchase an Adult 3-Day Pass for a celebration of Texas barbecue and Hill Country hospitality at Hooper's in Kingsland, TX October 16-18, 2026. Adult passes are $10 and Child Passes (12 years old and under) are $5.

Come taste the best Backyard BBQ competition from across the region competing for Best Taco on Friday and on Saturday teams will compete for Best Chicken, Brisket, Pork Shoulder, Pork Ribs. The winning team will take home $5,000 with second place taking home $1,500. Interested teams should email meatfest@theantlers.com

Educational classes for barbecue enthusiasts including brisket trimming and smoking techniques with the Churchrow crew and Miguel Vidal, a traditional tortilla-making class with Esther Madera and salsa-making classes from roasting chiles to seasoning and pairing.

Special guests Arnie “ArnieTex” Segovia, famed backyard barbecue lover and International Barbecue Cookers Association inductee; Al Wasserberger, barbecue host and executive producer of Behind the Food TV and more!
Welcome to MeatFest, presented by Hooper's, hereby referred to as the “Presenter,” ticket and Event disclaimer. By purchasing a ticket to the Event, you, hereby referred to as “Purchaser,” agree to the following:
- MeatFest is an outdoor event that will take place rain or shine. As such, all ticket sales are final and there will be no refunds given for any reason.
- Assumption of Risk: By attending Meatfest, you acknowledge and assume all risks, known and unknown, associated with attending a live outdoor music and food event.
- Release of Liability: BY attending Meatfest, you agree to release and hold harmless the Presenter, its officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, vendors, sponsors, partners, and volunteers from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from or related to your attendance at the festival, including but not limited to claims for personal injury, property damage, or loss.
- Compliance with Laws and Rules: By attending MeatFest, you agree to comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and rules, including but not limited to ordinances, and festival rules and regulations. Failure to comply with these laws and rules may result in your removal from the festival.
- Limitation of Liability: In no event shall the Presenter be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or related to your attendance at MeatFest.
- Photography and Recording: By attending MeatFest, you agree to be photographed, filmed, or recorded using any medium by the Presenter or its partners. The Presenter may use these recordings for promotions or commercial purposes without your consent or compensation.
- Force Majeure: The Presenter shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under this Disclaimer if such failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, or any illness related outbreak or pandemic.
